My passion as a PT started in high school as a 3 sport athlete in Michigan. I went to Purdue in pursuit of my Athletic Training degree to prepare for Physical Therapy School. After finishing PT school at Washington University in St. Louis, I started my career in Colorado in 1998. In 2000, I moved into at a Sports Medicine clinic in Boulder, where I spent the next 20 years of my career working in the area of care which I loved the most.
Over the course of my career, I had the opportunity to work with amazing physicians, physical therapists and other ancillary care specialists in a cooperative-like setting to minimize patient care and their outcomes. There was virtually no joint I couldn't assist from the neck to the feet over the span of my 20 years. Toward the later half of my career at the Sports Medicine Clinic, I had the opportunity to focus my attention on hip preservation care, non-operative and post-operative alike, when a prominent hip preservation specialist relocated to Boulder. Because of this opportunity, I observed hip preservation surgeries and discuss PT interventions related to his procedures, making modifications, improvements and revitalizing his protocols to maximize patient recovery. I was able to work with hundreds of hip patients over the span of my career as well as help guide patients toward a more successful diagnosis through thorough assessments and referrals to help move forward in their own care. Once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, my physical location of employment changed. Through the years, I identified the challenges patients had immediately after surgery trying to attend physical therapy visits in person. I started my own business to see clients within the comfort of their own homes, while providing a less stressful option as the pandemic continued. Now, after a few life changes, telemedicine is how I still provide patient care.
So long as you reside in the State of Colorado, I can see you online. While hands on is not performed in an assessment, there are many biomechanical issues I can identify via live interactions with patients to help initiate, modify or address formwork with home programs. I can consult and assess concerns related to injury status and care. I can work in conjunction with traditional physical therapy if schedules do not allow for consistent in-clinic care to allow care to continue to move forward. Working with On Your Way PT means you schedule with me, through me and have direct communication with me. No assistants or front desk to work through. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you soon! Let me get you On Your Way! On Your Way PT provides skilled, personalized physical therapy services at a fee for service at the time of your visit. On Your Way PT has no insurance contracts. You may qualify for out of network benefits depending on your insurance coverage. Many patients utilize HSA or FSA accounts for coverage.
I enjoy the outdoors and being in the mountains. Physical activity is my passion. Due to injury, I know what it is like to not be able to do the things I love. This is why I want to work with people to provide an efficient, guided method to assist return to whatever activities are enjoyed. I come from a strong background of playing sports including basketball, volleyball, tennis and softball. Sports I continue to enjoy include: cycling, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, golf, river activities and pickleball!

Hip SpecialtySpecializing in the hip over the last decade has excelled my treatment approaches for not only hip patients, but chronic knee, foot and back patients as well. Anatomical contributions to hip pain can include Femoralacetabular Impingement (FAI), a torn labrum, and hip dysplasia to name a few. These can also contribute to poor motor control through the hip complex, placing excess strain on other areas. Many times inhibited muscles closest to the joint, contribute to insufficient use and compensatory mechanisms around the joint. Physical therapy can address these motor dysfunctions which can accompany these pathologies.
